Grief Goddess

Floating through a dense canopy of vapor this Amanita Muscaria Goddess keeps watch over the passing world bellow. This stained glass wall hanging embodies the feeling of floating through the days after deep loss and weathering the storm of grief. Crafted with attention to the tiniest details, featuring real preserved mushrooms, pressed Forget-me-not, Maidenhair ferns, & Hydrangea petals. Agates found on the oregon coast dangle like precipitation below the clouds.

Whether your loss was recent or many moons ago, grief has a way of finding you in the everyday. When you laugh at a joke they would have loved or are just having a frustrating moment & you almost go to tell them, then remembering- it hits you all over again. 

Sourcing is a very important part of lowering our overall environmental impact. All clear glass used is sourced from broken windows saved from going to the landfill. Stained glass in our collection is sourced second hand from retiring artists and bigger productions scrap glass. Solder is sourced from Pacwest, a company based out of Seattle Washington. We aim to use the abundant waste often overlooked to bring beauty to your home. 

To ensure longevity of this piece please do not expose to water or direct sunlight. To clean use a dry microfiber cloth. Sunlight bleaches pressed botanicals.

This piece meazures 13"x9" and comes with a screw in C-hook for easy & sturdy hanging. Please do not hang with a suction cup, they fail and are heart shattering. 

Our flora & fungi are always responsibly harvested. Snail shells are found empty or are from an inherited family heirloom collection.
